Genital herpes is an STD caused by two types of viruses – herpes simplex type 1 and herpes simplex type 2.
There is NO CURE for Herpes. Symptoms will need to be managed for a lifetime.
You can get genital herpes by having vaginal, anal, or oral sex with someone who has the infection.
DETECTION:
Our clinic provider will obtain a culture of a lesion and our nurse will send it to the State Lab.
Results usually in 3-4 days.
Although there is NO CURE for Herpes, our clinician can prescribe medications that can suppress outbreaks; there is also meds that can reduce the pain and length of time an out break will last!
